Director Huang Wencan explained why the civil code is called "code" from the two aspects of the importance of the civil code and the richness of the adjustment objects of the civil code, and introduced the compilation process of the civil code from the historical evolution of the compilation of the civil code in China and the West. In the explanation of the basic structure, content and significance of the civil code, director Huang Wencan focused on the four fields adjusted by the civil code, namely, the field of market economy, the social field of non market economy, the field of marriage and family, and the field of personal and private life. In particular, he used the provisions of the civil code to interpret the social hot spots in recent years, such as seat dominating men, high-altitude throwing, professional lending, the elderly marrying nannies, star divorce, hotel sneak photography Cases such as personal information disclosure and joint debt between husband and wife caused resonance and heated discussion among the people present.

In explaining the value orientation of the civil code, director Huang Wencan insisted on the combination of theory and practice, introduced the value orientation of respecting autonomy, caring for the weak and respecting morality in the civil code from the aspects of China's national conditions, social characteristics and problems often encountered in people's life and work.
